ABOUT ME

My name is Audrey and I am currently in my senior year of high school in Columbus, Ohio. I love the city and feel happy to live here. I made this online portfolio for my class, but also as a way to get my work out there and be able to direct people to a website where they can see all of my work.

In the fall, I am starting at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio and I plan on earning my Bachleor's of Arts in Art (Studio) with Drawing Concentration and a minor in Film Studies. I will graduate from Otterbein with the class of 2019.

In the future, I want to use my degree to create story boards and concept art for major animated productions or cartoons. I've always loved cartooning and sketching is my favorite thing to do, so it would be my dream to eventually make my own cartoons or graphic novels.

As far as my art is considered, I am highly influenced by the way media is consummed and how visual information conveys messages and is signaled to the veiwer. Because of my love of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and cartoons, I try to let my imagination run with my ideas and allow myself the freedom to communicate those ideas effectively, which is why the majority of my work features fantastic scenes and the people who would be apart of those worlds.

I want my online portfolio to reflect my work and be an accurate representation of myself what I am capable of. I will try my best to keep this site regulary updated as I create new work. I am excited to be able to go on this journey.
